Although overused, Iceland’s nickname ‘The Country of Fire and Ice’ is certainly spot-on; this island in the North Atlantic Ocean is shaped by millions of years of volcanic activity and glacial retreat. The results of which have created landscapes that can only be described as ‘otherworldly’. Rumbling glaciers, smoking volcanoes, thundering waterfalls, endless plains and deep fjords; Iceland has it all.
This collection of still photographs are the result of several visits to Iceland, between 2009 and 2021.
